Welcome to Kathmandu, the vibrant capital of Nepal! Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, our representative/driver will be waiting with a placard to greet you. Kathmandu is the heart of Nepal’s history, art, culture, and economy, boasting a multiethnic population with Hindu and Buddhist influences.

Enjoy a comfortable transfer to your hotel and check-in. The rest of the evening is at leisureβ€”explore local markets, try your luck at casinos, or immerse yourself in a traditional Nepali folk dance show.

After a delicious breakfast, embark on a spiritual and cultural journey.

  • Pashupatinath Temple: A UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the oldest and holiest Hindu temples, dedicated to Lord Shiva. Admire the Nepalese pagoda-style architecture, silver-covered doors, and sacred rituals. Witness the spiritual cremation ceremonies along the banks of the Bagmati River.

  • Boudhanath Stupa: One of the largest stupas in Asia, standing at over 120 feet tall. A major center for Tibetan Buddhism, the stupa features the iconic all-seeing eyes of Buddha, symbolizing wisdom and awareness.

After exploring these historical landmarks, return to your hotel and enjoy your evening at leisure.

After breakfast, set off to discover the artistic and spiritual heritage of Kathmandu Valley.

  • Patan Durbar Square: A UNESCO World Heritage Site, also known as Lalitpur – The Beautiful City. Once home to Nepalese kings, the square is a masterpiece of Newari architecture. Marvel at the Ashoka Stupa with its enigmatic painted eyes and the Mahabuddha Temple, featuring thousands of terracotta Buddha images.

  • Swayambhunath Stupa (Monkey Temple): A mesmerizing Buddhist stupa perched on a hilltop, offering panoramic views of Kathmandu Valley. The white dome represents earth, while the 13-tier golden spire symbolizes the stages to nirvana. Home to playful monkeys, this site is both sacred and scenic.

After the tour, return to your hotel and relax or explore the city on your own.

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. Depending on your flight schedule, you will be transferred to Tribhuvan International Airport at least 3 hours before departure. Bid farewell to Nepal, carrying home unforgettable memories of your Kathmandu adventure.
